Frasers Hill

The view of Frasers Hill
With enviable tranquility and simple charm, Fraser's Hill which rests 1,500 metres above sea level captivates tourists effortlessly. Whether you decide to stay at a hill resort, hotel, bungalow or chalet, you will be enthralled by the same vast natural landscape and fresh cool mountain air.

Check out the Jeriau Falls, just about 5km from the town, and be tempted to have a cool dip in its crystal clear water. Here, bird-watchers can find more than 250 species of bird throughout the year. Bird-watching is one of the favourite pastimes for visitors to Fraser's Hill, attracting a large number of bird enthusiasts to its annual International Bird Race, held in June each year.

There are also plenty of activities for non-bird watchers. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of lush vegetation in the beautiful hillside surroundings and the colourful blooms at the Flower Nursery. There are also Allan's Waters, a tranquil, man-made lake; The Paddock, an equestrian center which also has an archery range, and soon, a woodball course; the pristine Jeriau waterfall and a 9-hole golf course.

How to reach there?

From Jalan Kuala Kubu Baru (Kuala Kubu Baru Road), there's a one-way road leading up to the hill. The eight-kilometre drive up the hill is a winding one but traffic is controlled from 6.30am to 7pm for the visitors' convenience. Bus can be reached at Puduraya bus terminal in Kuala Lumpur to the Kuala Kubu Bharu where you have to board another bus departs to Fraser's Hill at 8am and 2pm daily. Taxis also available at Kuala Lumpur.
